Hi Everyone,
We are evaluating few open source routing stack. Have few queries w.r.to
quagga.
1. Does quagga support VRF ? Otherwise, can VRF be simulated with
the existing feature set ?
you could simulate vrf using network name spaces in Linux kernel.
2. Does the zebra deamon acts as Interface Manager (IM) too ? If yes,
our goal is to just have bgp/ospf routing daemons. Is it possible to bypass
the IM of zebra and have our own interface manager.
zebra interfaces with kernel, gets notifications and it populates the
interface structure maintained in lib/if.h.
3. Is there support for bfd over bgp in quagga ?
Quagga does not support that.

Thanks,
- Balaji
Thanks and Regards,
Christella Jone.
